Family Celebrations
Four times a year, we have family celebrations - Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and the End-of-Year. We invite parents to join us for a worship service led by the children. This is important to the Christian community that we believe is key to your child's growth. The children need to experience what it means to be a Christian community, and they do that through experiencing it. It is also important because the children are leading us in worship.
At Thanksgiving the focus is on giving thanks. We do a nativity at Christmas. At Easter, we will focus on Jesus' death and resurrection, and we will have an Easter Egg Hunt after worship. At the end of the year, we will celebrate what God has done this school year and have a graduation for those going on to a Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten itself.
